This section carries out field trials at Coffee Research Station and Sub-stations, Demonstration Plots and other experimental sites located in Government /institutional land and farmers plots

• Management of various plant densities on Arabica and Robusta coffee
• Intercropping coffee with annual and perennial crops
• Weed management and weed-crop competition
• Organic coffee production

• Produced Technical guidelines
• Evaluated and recommended over100 herbicides
• Established collaboration with the Kenya Meteorological Department
