Azania Estate is registered under Coffee Board of Kenya and was acquired in 1977. It has a total of 99 ha and out of this 64 ha is under coffee as follows:

1. 62 ha is under traditional varieties
2. 2 ha is under Ruiru II

The objective of managing the farm is to ensure an economic and sustainable production of high quality coffee and in turn generate enough revenue to manage the farm’s operations and have surplus towards Research activities at CRF.
